October Meeting: A Tough Conversation - The Front Line Work Force, Poverty and Mental Health

  • The Curtis a DoubleTree Hotel 1405 Curtis Street Denver, CO, 80202 United States (map)

“It is going to be a tough conversation.  You will fail.  You will fall down….but have the conversation anyway.” Brene Brown on tough conversations in the workplace

The barriers that exist outside of  work for front line workers often bring  mental health struggles to the workplace.

The results range from disengagement to addiction, absenteeism and violence.

WorkLife Partnership presents a conversation about the real life struggles of front line workers making less than it costs to live in America’s prime markets.

The neuroscience and linguistics behind the conversation point to a way out of the struggle.

We will discuss ways to have this tough conversation with the C - Suite.  We will consider signs of a struggle , what to look for, and more importantly,  you will learn about an important resource:  WorkLife Partnership and the impactful service they provide  every day so that workers can be stable and engaged at work.
